Stella Beever Counselling

Hello, my name is Stella and I live in beautiful Mid Devon. I am a qualified Person-centred counsellor. I welcome you to my garden counselling room in Tiverton which is private and confidential.

"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." - Carl Rogers

What else can I help with?

Everyone has a story — and sometimes, parts of it are hard to carry alone. I offer calm, confidential counselling for adults navigating a range of challenges, from eating disorders and men’s mental health to experiences like Boarding School Syndrome. Whether you're facing something new or unpacking long-held pain, I work gently, at your pace. Sessions are available in-person in Mid Devon or online across the UK.

FAQs

I'm not sure if you're the right person to help me?

Book in a no obligation, confident chat with me HERE. We can discuss ....

How many sessions will I need?

There’s no set number — some people come for just a few sessions, others choose longer-term support. We’ll go at your pace and regularly review what’s working for you.

Is everything I say confidential?

Yes, counselling is a safe and confidential space. What you share stays between us — the only exceptions are if there’s a serious risk of harm, in which case I’ll always try to discuss this with you first.

What happens in a session?

Each session lasts 50 minutes. You’ll be invited to talk about whatever’s on your mind — there's no pressure or expectations. I’ll listen, support, and help you explore things safely and at your own pace.

Do you offer in-person or online counselling?

I offer both. Sessions can take place in person in Mid Devon, or online if that feels more comfortable or convenient for you.
